Sport England, through their Inspired Facilities Fund, will offer £50 million in grants for local projects where there is a proven local need for a facility to be modernised, extended or modified to open up new sporting opportunities. The fund will be open to clubs, community and voluntary sector groups and councils.

 

The fund will be launched on July 18th 2011 and for the first of five £10m funding rounds, with the final round in 2014/15.

All telephone and e-mail advice is provided free of charge.

 

Other services are charged on a case-by-case basis. However,

there is no up-front fee and, typically,  equals 10% of any grants offered up to £50,000 in value.

 

Supplementary charges are made for travelling and accommodation which are over 100 miles driving distance from Nottingham.

 

Grants consultancy is not an eligible project cost which can be claimed  directly from grant receipts.
