Inspired Facilities will offer £50 million in grants for local projects where there is a proven local need for a facility to be modernised, extended or modified to open up new sporting opportunities. The fund will be open to clubs, community and voluntary sector groups and councils.

 

The fund was launched on July 18th 2011 and for the first of five £10m funding rounds, with the final round in 2014/15.

Paul Abel MA MPhil (Cantab), was formerly the National Grants Consultant with Pannell Kerr Forster, the international firm of Chartered Accountants. He has been involved in more than 60 successful grant applications with a total value of more than £5.5 million over the past 10 years. He specialises in National Lottery Grants and European Regional Development Funds.

 

For some projects, BSG needs to call upon Chartered Accountants to provide professional certification. For this purpose, we work with Berkeley Lifford Hall, advisers based in Corsham, Wiltshire.
